Crystal Lake is an organized hamlet in the Rural Municipality of Keys No. 303, about 70 kilometres north of Yorkton and one kilometre west of Highway 9. The community sits on the shores of the lake that gives it its name.
Most of the hamlet lies on the Keys side of the lake, while the rest of the shoreline falls within the neighbouring Rural Municipality of Buchanan No. 304. Statistics Canada counts the two parts together as a single designated place.
